Park catchment population reports

The park catchment population report tables illustrate the proportion of the total LGA or suburb population within the specified park catchment areas.

For example, the table shown below indicates that 33.934% of residents within the City of Cockburn were within 400m walking distance of a small neighbourhood park.

The proportion of the population within any park catchment area is also indicated.

For example, the table shown below indicates that 92.054% of the population of the City of Cockburn were resident within any park catchment area.

The proportion of the population broken down by age (years) groups (0-4; 5-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-34, etc) within the park catchments is also presented.

Park catchment population reports are presented for the POS Tool and DSR public open space classification framework catchment areas.
